Daron Lee - Prime Managing Director

Born in Macclesfield, Cheshire, Daron began his career as a stockbroker in Manchester before establishing Proquote – an online stock market trading system for stockbrokers and banks.
Handling some 85,000 trades per day from over 170 broker firms and banks, Proquote was acquired by the London Stock Exchange, and Daron moved on to a divisional director position. He has been involved in several flotations and was part of the concert party which brought a scientific team out of Leeds University to create Avacta Plc. The company is quoted on AiM and is a cutting edge biophysics company.
Daron established a small investment banking business in 2010 and left the firm after an agreeing a merger in 2012. Recently Daron coordinated & managed the pre-pack and refinancing of a national dark fibre network operator.
Its clients included Money Supermarket, Trader Media, Getronics, IOM Government, KPN Telecom and others. The company was sold to a California-based organisation in 2017.
Rick began his finance career in audit as a Chartered Accountant, before joining KPMG in their Manchester office where he specialised in Corporate Tax.
In 2008 Rick joined the Zeus Group, moving to its renewables team as Investment Director in December 2014. During his time at Zeus, Rick was involved in projects across a range of sectors which received inward investment of more than £370 million.
Rick is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants England and Wales.
